systems, ml, and things that go fast

I'm a researcher at Flapping Airplanes, working on what comes after brute-force scaling. Before that I spent some time at Citadel building infrastructure to serve asset pricing at scale.

I studied computer science and linguistics at Stanford. Easily nerd-sniped and only occasionally sorry about it.

Things I built

Celerity — A full operating system for the BCM2835 (ARM) SoC. This started as an exokernel that I could use as a base to implement OS paper ideas on, and ended up becoming everything outside of a C compiler.
